On a similar note, it looks like the NLDS roster for the Giants does not include Barry Zito and Jose Guillen (click here to read the story). It's not surprising that they cut Zito, since he hasn't been playing well lately (and he totally let us down on Saturday night), but it may (or may not) come as a surprise that he is the highest paid player on the Giants' roster. Looks like our $12 million could have been much better spent. Guillen is a little surprising, but we'll just have to see what Bruce Bochy has up his sleeves. From what I've been reading online, Andres and Freddy are the key. And if they can get on base, then we know that Huff and Posey will bring 'em home. WE BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC!!!
