good day

the lakers win big (against the celtics!!!!). taylor swift wins big (album of the year at the grammys). what a great day. now if only i wasn't hacking up a lung. being sick sucks :(

today was a fairytale

OMYGOD. The new taylor swift song rocks (as usual). Check tay tay out on perezhilton.com. Her song is currently the number 2 single on iTunes, and the only song beating it is Justin Timberlake's Haiti song (and all those proceeds go towards relief for Haiti, so who can argue with that). Taylor's song is the number one single off the new Valentine's Day movie soundtrack. I can't wait for the Valentine's Day movie to come out. Matt secretly ruined the surprise and told me he's planning on taking me to dinner, then seeing the movie on V-day. My boyfriend rocks :)

Tornado warning

So on Tuesday, tornado warnings were issued in san Diego. Well the weather sure knows how to keep up with that warning. It's been storming on the west coast all week and yesterday I took a shower walking from my car to my house. It's crazy I've never seen it like this. I bought a $14 umbrella yesterday (it's cute and yellow). Anyways, we just wanted to tell you that we are alive and still swimming :) don't worry we're wearing life jackets!!

10:00 am * wake up late
11:00-12:00pm * maybe go to class...undecided.
12:00-2:00 * drive to los angeles
2:00-3:00 * have lunch with dad :)
3:00-4:00 * drive to irvine
4:00 * arrive at amber's
4:00 - ?? * hang out with my favorite A's (amber & andrew)

Let it begin!!

School just got underway this past monday and both margaret and i are excited for how the quarter will turn out. both of us are immediately thrown into the stress and excitement that school brings as our first week has shown the promise that this quarter will be a busy one. i was given my first assignment which you can see in more detail at my architecture blog and margaret has been given plenty of reading assignments along with her travels to solana beach for part of one of her classes.

stick around and we'll be posting pictures of our future adventures. although this quarter will be a very busy one, nothing shall stop us in our goal to experience SD life to the fullest. besides, were still kids so we cant take life too serious...not yet at least :)
